Relax, it's going to be okay, girl. Oh yeah, with two, with two, no, you choose one or the other. What, ladies and gentlemen, how you doing? Today? This is your boy, jay Stone, coming to you live with another edition of In the Lounge with Stone and B day. This is your boy, j Stone, coming to you live with another edition of In the Lounge with Stone and B. I just want to say thank you for all your support that you gave me in 2024. It is now 2025 and I'm so thankful for that, and Happy New Year to you, and I want your same support that I got in 2024 and 2025. I thank you so much for letting me come into your gyms, come into your houses, come into your cars, come into wherever you're listening to me at. I thank you so much for that. Let's get into this real quick.
Speaker 1:January 20th we have stepped and embarked on a new president. His name is Donald J Trump. We have heard so much about him, so much of. He's a liar, he's a schemer, he's a manipulator, he grabs women's vaginas, he talks about people eating cats and dogs, he cheats his taxes or he doesn't pay his taxes, or any other little things he wants to say about this man, but one thing you can, the only thing you can say is he is the president of the United States of America, so he had a inaugural ball, as they all do, and then he had some other things on the side. So we have some performances from Snoop Dogg, rick Ross, nelly what is it? Soulja Boy, and all of them came under fire because they performed at this Ann Arbor Ball. So we got Snoop Dogg at the crypto event celebrating Trump's inaugural ball. He celebrated his inauguration.
Speaker 1:Now, mind you, the reason Snoop Dogg is under fire is because of the words that he said in 2026 sorry, 2016,. What he said? He said that this is paraphrasing. He called if anyone, because Donald Trump was out there calling people who wanted him to perform and wanted other people to perform, and he said if any other black folks go out there and perform for this man, he ain't nothing but Uncle Tom's, and he called him Uncle Tom's and he called them Jigaboos and he's going to roast them and everything else. Now, mind you, 2025 rolls in and he's right there doing the same thing he told someone else not to do. Now, what I can say is this hey, you got some explaining to do, but I can understand the fact of the matter of why he did it. Hey, man, that's his job. Sure, that's his job to entertain, that's his job to go out there and do whatever they wanted to do. You know, people got upset because Rick Ross and him and Nelly and what's the other young man's name, other artists and everything came out there and performed. But why? Why are you upset? If somebody's doing their job Now he don't have to like the man to take his money.
Speaker 1:And you know he came out with a bag. I'm talking about millions in a bag. Here's $100,000. No, we're going millions in a bag. So this is millions in the bag. So so this is the thing about it.
Speaker 1:You know he had a job, he had a job, he did a job, he got paid for the job. That's the same thing as you going to if you work with UPS or you working for FedEx. So you working for Uber or you're working for whoever you're working for. You don't like all the people in there. You don't like all the ways they do, you don't like the laws, you don't like the things they go by. But guess what? They paying you a nice fat bag. You're going to go in there and do what you got to do to collect that bag and get that bag and get the hiccup out of there. That bag and get that bag and get the hiccup out of there. And that's what he did.
Speaker 1:He ain't stick around and say, hey, hey, donald, come on, let me take a couple pictures with you and let me put your hat on and let me let me show you what I can. No man, it was about the money. Now I'm hearing all money ain't good money. Huh, I'll tell you what. You show me the money. I don't care where you get it from. If you go and get money from drug dealers or whatever, whatever, whatever, or people who are doing bad things, and you come and drop it at my doorstep, why can't I take that bad money and turn it to good money and do something good with it? Oh, we got quiet, wow. So when people say that all money ain't good money, it's in the fact of what are you going to do with that money? You don't know what.
Speaker 1:He, this man, has little leagues and putting people in college and and and doing stuff for the community. So that's not cheap. That's not something that's coming out of somebody else's pocket. That's money that he is filtering into his community. So he has to get out and make money. So if somebody giving him a two, three, four million or whatever dollar back to go out there and rap, perform or whatever, why not take that bag? Soulja Boy took that bag.
Speaker 1:I think what Stephen A Smith said. He looked and he got in his pocket and Soulja Boy got in his pocket. And so the boy got in his pocket and came out with he said he was a couple of hundred thousand in his pocket. Come on, man, what's wrong? Why he can't feed himself, why Snoop can't feed himself, why y'all so upset at this man because of he went back on something. He said oh, because he a rapper, he don't supposed to go back, man, please.
Speaker 1:Carrie Underwood winning a song Did y'all get mad at her? I don't think so, but I'm hearing about the rappers. So it's a job, look at it. It's a job. He went to do a job. That's all I got to say.
Speaker 1:You know, snoop, you always good in my book, rick. You always good in my book, rick, you always good in my book. So, jaboy, I seen you a couple times. You came through where I work at you and your people's always good in my book. Man. Y'all keep on going. Do what you're doing, man Respect, hey, um, another thing I wanted to pick in is also the fires in LA.
Speaker 1:My condolences to everyone that lost someone in that fire. Thankfully that, I understand that you might have lost a house, but if you didn't lose your life, thank God for that. And for the ones that did lose their life, my condolences. The team here at In the Lounge sends their condolences to you as well. My thing is that I don't care if you're rich or whatever.
Speaker 1:When tragedy hits, it hits, it hits hard. I don't know whose homes got it, I don't know if it's a lot of famous people who got it, but I know it's blocks and blocks of destruction just going out, and my heart goes out to you guys, the people here in the lounge. Their heart goes out to them as well. Wow, 2025,. It started out kind of rough, but my government always told me when it starts all rough, it's going to end real smooth and good. So somewhere in here, great things are going to come. So just believe. Believe in God, believe in knowing what he's going to do and he's going to turn everything back around. Put it all in His hands, put your house, your things. I know it's a lot of things right now. You're looking at the insurance. Are they going to pay out? Can we still get insurance when we do rebuild? It's a lot of questions that you don't have answers to right now and I hope and pray that they give you the answer that you need.
Speaker 1:Oh man, check this out, let's go into. Um, I was, what was I doing? What was I at? We were, um, we were, oh, shaquille. Mr O'Neal, I'm hoping and hoping and hoping that I see you in this all-star game that is going to be out here in the Bay. I forgot the tall guy's name that scours over you. I have never seen anybody scour over him. I was looking at this clip that Sherry Shepherd put out that Shaquille O'Neal was talking to this other guy. He was acting like he was yelling and fussing and complaining at him, but the tall guy turned around. He's like 7'2", 7'3", something like that. I'm like Shaquille had to look up at him. Now this is Shaquille O'Neal. Superman, the Greek, aristotle, backboard breaking lane coming through. Watch out, big diesel man. So if he get on anybody's court, you better watch out. You better watch out. Oh man, um, what else. So I was. I'm just sitting here.
Speaker 1:Oh, january the 10th, ladies and gentlemen, I know it is way past January 10th, but somebody, anybody out there did y'all have any New Year's resolutions Now, reminds you, january 10th is New Year's resolutions quit day. That means that everybody who had a resolution quit around January the 10th, 11th, all prior, all before. Why? Because most of the time your resolutions is I'm going to stop drinking, or I'm going to stop smoking, or I'm going to stop going to the, I'm going to go to the gym and get my body in shape, or I'm going to do do this or I'm going to do that. A lot of people do not throw it all in. They say, oh, let me go and do this and let me do that. New Year's resolutions no, why don't you just do one day at a time and just pick up and keep going? Build a habit of good things. Build we have habits of bad things, of if it's drinking, if it's smoking, if it's womanizing, whatever. Let's build habits of doing great things. Let's build habits of building our own bodies up. Let's build habits of eating right. Let's build habits of picking the right people in your life.
Speaker 1:This year I went on a quest to go through my phone, my IG and all of my information to see and to see what is really what we were really doing and going on, hold on, please. So I went through my IG, my phone, my phone, my IG, my Facebook and everything. If I'm not talking to you or if I'm not shooting messages back to you or you're not even saying anything back to me, boom. And my phone, if it's always, can I have, can I get, I need, give me, give me. And it's never a text in there saying could you do something for me? Or hey, I got something for you and I'm always giving out and no one is pouring into me. Delete, because I'm separating myself from people that are vibe killers, that are bloodsuckers, that are users that are no good for me.
Speaker 1:We pour out so much into people and no one is pouring into us. So if you don't get, if no one is pouring into you, what are you pouring out to somebody else? You cannot have your cup dry. The Bible says the cup runneth over. Over means the overflow. That's what we're supposed to give out. The overflow of what we get, not everything, just the overflow. That's what we're supposed to give out the overflow of what we get, not everything, just the overflow. The cup is running over. So the stuff that's on the side this is what we're supposed to give out Our cup stays full, but the stuff that's on the side we're supposed to give out. We're supposed to give out the love, the joy, the peace, if it's money, if it's finances, if it's helping somebody or whatever, but our cups continues to stay full because we give the overflow.
Speaker 1:This is the thing that I have for 2025. This thing I have for 2025. I am trying and that's what I'm going to say. I'm trying because I'm not doing no New Year's resolution. I'm not going to sit up and and say, oh uh, I'm going to do this and and and and. It might work and it might not. It might happen and it might not. It might go through it, it might not, but what I'm going to do is I'm, I want to.
Speaker 1:I want to have a better me. I want to be a better me. I want to be a better me. I want to be a better me with my kids. I want to be. Even though they're grown, I still want to be a better me with my kids. I want to be a better me at my job. I want to be a better me with this podcast. I want to be a better me just around people, period. I just want to be a better person that goes to church. I want to be a better saint. I want to be better, more, more closer to God. It's things that I want to be better in that I can't afford to lose.
Speaker 1:I want this podcast, when I'm on, to be best at it, you know, at the top of the top of the top, and what I'm looking at is, if we can it, we can do it. We have. You guys have been sitting listening to us for months and years. Well, I think what? Two years, two, two and a half years now and we have some good podcasts and we have some okay podcasts. We have some good guests. We have some great things this year Podcast. We had some good guests. We had some some great things this year.
Speaker 1:We're are we're going to try to double what we did. We're going to have some more, some more um, we're going to have some more doctors on to help us with our, our, our, our, our, our weight loss or our, our weight gain. If you're trying to do it, whatever we're trying to do. We're going to do it out there. We're going to put some people in some moves of getting jobs, of getting better jobs.
Speaker 1:We're going to have some people on here that's talking about how to get houses with HUD or how to do some things in your credit, because right now, this day and age is about credit. You can have a, some things in your credit, because right now, this day and age is about credit. You can have million dollars in your pocket. Some people don't say I don't want your money. Do you have good credit, credit, credit, credit, credit, credit?
Speaker 1:And yes, right now we have a, a, a, a president in, in, in, in tact right now that, yes, he is a businessman. And I tell people this, and people don't like me when I say this If Donald J Trump do not talk and just do the business of being a president, he'll be a great president. Why, if you look at it, look at the financial thing that he was when he was in here, he was making money good, you're going to have, because he's about business. He ain't no politician, he's a businessman, and this is the thing about it. You put we put we. Well, whoever voted, they put him in office as a politician. No, you put a businessman in a politician's spot. So what happens now is the only thing he really knows how to do. Now, hopefully, everyone's around him that are politicians that will make his thing better and go good and he listens to them. He'll be a great president If he don't go out there and do all this stupid stuff and want to talk on Twitter and talk about people and do all this other stuff. Like I said, that's my opinion. Like I said, that's my opinion. Like I said, I don't care who's in office.
Speaker 1:When Obama was in office, I had to wake up and still go to work. I was happy. It was a moment in history that a black man was in office, great. But guess what? I can't call the White House and say Obama hey, man, I need a job Bro. That didn I need a job, bro. That didn't work like that buddy. I still had to get up at four o'clock in the morning and make it in here and punch in and clock in and I had to do my gig. So he's in office. I hope great things come from. I hope he lives up to the right of what he's supposed to do and not the wrong of what he's supposed to do.
Speaker 1:Ladies and gentlemen, it is 2025. It is the beginning of 2025. We're still in January. We got February, March, april, may, june, july, august, september, october, november and back to December and before you know it, it will be December again. You will. You will be seeing the snow and you will be hearing jingle bells, jingle bells. I'm like cat dog. This went by really quickly. Now what I want to know is who is going to be the bombshell of 2025. Will it be Diddy, or will Cat Williams come out with some more secrets? Ooh, oh yeah.
Speaker 1:Art Kelly got, I think, two new songs out now. Go check them out. Just type in Art Kelly new music. Art Kelly got a I think two new songs out now. Go check them out. Just type in Art Kelly new music. Art Kelly got a new project out. You know, and I haven't heard it, but people say it's pretty good. Yeah, that's it. That's what it was. That's what it was. It was a couple of songs that he had. A song Please Forgive Me was a couple of songs that he had. I says a song please forgive me and a song my son Now, these were I don't know if he did them or someone, a item or however it happened, because you see the video, you see images, look like.
Speaker 1:You know it's not like a regular video, it's an AI video and everything, and you know AI is taking over. Got dug, it Shoot, hey man, if he got some new music out. He got some new music out. I hope somebody going to check him out, help him out, show him love. The last song I heard of him it was called I Admit it and it wasn't what everybody thought he was going to admit to, but it was. I Admit it.
Speaker 1:This man got 30 years in jail. 30 years, whoo, like we got Diddy in jail. 30 years, whew, like we got Diddy. Diddy's still sitting behind bars. But I got a video. Well, I didn't get it, but I think TMZ seen a video of somebody snuck him on a little motorcycle and he riding it around on a cell block, back and around, back and around, going around, going around. Hey man, it's some of the life out here.
Speaker 1:But God, dog, brother, all the money you had, all the prestige you had, all the everything you had went up in flames, going up in flames. Like I said, I will never talk ill of him because he's still human. People make mistakes and God is not through with him yet. You understand, I pray the best for him. I pray that if he do get out of this situation he don't go back into it, he becomes a changed man and doing the right thing. That's what I hope and wish for. That's what I hope and pray for.

They'll come if it's writing one of the best hit songs and you don't know how to get it together. Trust and believe you got everything.
